MISS ME

Miss Me, but let me go.

Now that I've come to the end of the day and the sun has set for me,

I want no rites in a gloom filled room,

Why weep for a soul set free?

So, Miss Me a little, but not too much,

And not with your head bowed low.

Remember all the times we shared,

And Miss Me but let me go.

For this is a journey we each must take,

And each must take alone.

It is as though it is part of a master plan.

A step on the road to home.

So, when you feel fearful or tearful or alone,

Then turn to the loved ones we know.

And you look out for each other and love each other.

And Miss Me but let me go.
